Sauteed Red Kale



Umoja Gardens is happy to introduce Red Kale this summer. Try out our new offering in this recipe.

Enjoy!

YOU WILL NEED:

1 bunch red kale
Olive oil
Red or White wine vinegar (Try Balsamic for an extra kick!)

GET TO IT:

1. Rinse and trim the kale.
2. Heat oil in a large skillet. (Be sure not to scorch the oil!)
3. Add kale (In small increments, be sure not to overwhelm your sautee pan!)
4. As the kale becomes tender (In about 15 minutes) add vinegar to taste.
5. Share your tasty side with those you love!

Also try Red Kale in your favorite juicing recipes. It is great in Green Smoothies as well. It also makes a tasty addition to soup! 
The options are endless (and nutritious!).
